Prize-winning Logo for the American Society for Microbiologists This logo was designed
to represent the subdivisions of the American Society for Microbiologists, whose logo, the microscope, appears in the central
square of this image. The concept of "branches" is represented by the symbols for various disciplines that fall
within the umbrella of microbiology. Starting from the top left and proceeding clockwise are a petri dish with bacterial or
yeast colonies, a nematode, a filamentous fungus, DNA, bacterial or yeast cells, a plant pathogen, viruses, and a syringe
representing immunology and medical microbiology.

Logo for the South Florida Jewelry Arts Guild (Contest Entry) The South Flordia Bead Society recently changed its name to the South Florida Jewelry Arts Guild
to account for the diverse interests of the members. I designed this logo to depict chain-making, wire-wrapping and metal-smithing
in addition to beading. I used an art deco style and colors in keeping with the location of the guild.

Logo for Jewelry Designer The client
wanted her logo to represent libra, the moon and jewelry design. She asked for an image of a woman sitting on the moon, holding
a piece of jewelry. I chose a sensual approach to this project to reflect the personality of the client. She loved it.

Logo for Jewelry Designer This logo was
based on one the client had designed herself. Her name means "woman of the sea", hence the mermaid. We worked very
closely on this project, making a number of small changes, until the client was delighted with the result.
